CATSS has been developed by Thames Valley Operators. We’re a Community Interest Company set up by Keep Mobile (Wokingham), Swindon Dial A Ride and Slough Community Transport. These charitable organisations provide accessible transport services for the benefit of the community, including Group Transport, Dial A Ride, Dial A Bus, Day Trips, Social Car, Self Drive Hire, Shopmobility plus Social Services, Education and non-emergency Patient Transport.
When we were looking for software to support our own CT operations back in 2003 we couldn’t find a solution that really met the challenges and demands of what we do. So we decided to write our own…
Unlike other transport scheduling software writers who are stuck at their desks, we have hands-on experience of our own software every day as we run our urban and rural services along the Thames Valley and M4 corridor. We think it’s the little things, based on our inside knowledge and empathy that make a difference. Like knowing that not all wheelchairs are the same size. Or understanding how complex funding can be, depending on the trips you make and your local authority.
Today our expertise is shared successfully with numerous charitable organisations and local authorities across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
As a Community Interest Company any surplus we make through the development of CATSS software is re-invested directly back into the services provided for our communities by the three founding organisations.
